Statement of Faith
Statement of Philosophy
The North Stonington Christian Academy shall always teach the fundamentals of the historic Christian faith upon which our Bible curriculum is also based and which include:

 Our Statement of Faith

We believe in the plenary, verbal inspiration of the Bible as the only infallible authoritive Word of God, which is the supreme and final authority in faith and life.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father where He intercedes as our High Priest and Advocate, and in His personal future return in power and glory.

We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he fell into sin, and that, because of sin, he is both physically and spiritually dead, and is thus separated from God.

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith, not as a result of works, and that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit, thereby becoming children of God.

We believe in the eternal security of the believer; that a person who is truly saved will never lose his salvation.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and lost--that the saved are saved unto the resurrection of life and the lost unto the resurrection of  damnation.

We believe in the "blessed hope" which is the personal, imminent, pre-tribulational and premillennial coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for His Church.

NOTE:  We recognize that not every parent who sends his or her children to North Stonington Christian Academy will share all of our convictions.  It is very important, however, that parents and students recognize that attendance at the Academy is a privilege and not a right, and so are expected to conform to school policy.
