NSCA Arts

Fine Arts
As a Member School of ACSI, North Stonington Christian Academy hosted the Art Festival for the district of Connecticut, lower Massachusetts, and Rhode Island for many years. Schools from many states register and we’re always excited to see what God will do through these events.

Creativity
At North Stonington Christian Academy, we view creativity as a gift from God and an essential part of a child’s growth. Our arts program encourages students to explore their talents, express themselves with confidence, and reflect the beauty of God’s creation. Through visual arts, music, hands-on projects, and classroom presentations, students develop imagination, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Creativity is thoughtfully woven into everyday learning, from illustrating Bible lessons and designing projects to participating in chapel programs and special events. At NSCA, the arts are an opportunity for students to grow in confidence, perseverance, and joy while using their gifts to glorify God.
Our Purpose in the Arts
- To glorify God in our actions, words, and in our entire arts program.
- To instill in students an understanding that participation in the arts is a privilege that also carries responsibilities.
- To develop Christ-like character among our Student Artists and encourage him/her to develop their God-given artistic abilities to his/her maximum potential.
- To place the utmost importance on Christian character and conduct, achievement in academics, and respect for others.
- To use the arts as a training ground to equip our artists to be strong disciples for Christ.
