North Stonington Christian Academy provides the following resources from the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Connecticut Department of Education, for more information about the coronavirus disease.

Coronavirus Resources

ACSI is closely monitoring an outbreak of respiratory illness caused by a new coronavirus (COVID-19). Doctors first identified the virus in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is working with the World Health Organization (WHO), other government agencies along with state and local officials to respond to this emerging public health threat.

On March 11, 2020 The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) a pandemic. At this point, a number of states have moved to a “shelter in place” model, with most states now banning gatherings of more than 10 people (some have set the limit to 3).
